My name is Keshti. I'm a creative, passionate, and communicative UI & UX Designer with a love for high-quality creations.
Open, talkative, always curious, and ready to take on new challenges! With a solid educational background, I have built a broad understanding of the design process and the creative work that goes with it. I always strive to deliver the best possible results, enhance my skills, and become a better designer ✌🏻
From doodles to design
My path into digital design started early. I loved drawing and organizing information as a child. Over time, I developed an interest in traditional art, where I learned visual aesthetics and how to communicate ideas. Later on, programming became a big part of my life, eventually leading me to web development.
During a two-year web development program, I was introduced to UX design and immediately knew it was the perfect blend of creativity and problem-solving. Working with tools like Adobe XD and Figma felt intuitive, and I became deeply invested in understanding how design impacts user experience. This led me to further my education with a dedicated UX & UI program.
Currently, I’m expanding my skills through ongoing studies in web development while also gaining hands-on experience as a UX designer in the gaming industry. This combination allows me to strengthen both my technical and design expertise, pushing me to grow in new and exciting ways.

My Design Perspective
Embracing Feedback Culture
I strongly believe in the power of a feedback-driven environment. Constructive criticism and open communication are integral to personal growth as well as the success of projects. I appreciate the value of feedback in refining my designs and continuously improving my skills. One method I actively utilize is quick sketches, as they facilitate open and honest feedback from colleagues and stakeholders. This, in turn, fosters a more efficient design process that benefits everyone involved.
Utilizing the Power of Color
I believe picking the right colors and aesthetics for every project is essential! I strongly believe in using colors to convey messages, evoke emotions, and build brand recognition. Each project should include enough color to be engaging but not so much that it visually overwhelms the user, leading to a chaotic experience and reduced brand memorability. When selecting colors, I carefully consider their impact based on, among other things, brand identity, market research, and color psychology.
Organized Maximalism
Regarding design, I'm all about striking a balance between structure and visual excitement. I thrive on organized chaos, where there's a method to the madness. It's an ongoing challenge for me to find that sweet spot, especially since I used to focus mostly on black-and-white art and design. But recently, I've been enjoying the fun and (for myself) slightly unusual journey of expressing my maximalist side through vibrant colors.
Balancing Trends and Usability
Usability should never be sacrificed for the sake of chasing trends that may come and go. I firmly believe in staying up-to-date with current design trends and following the prevailing aesthetic language. As a designer, it's essential to keep an eye on what's happening in the industry. However, I always remember the core importance of usability. No matter how trendy or stylish a design may be, if it hinders the user's ability to navigate or understand a solution, it's a problem waiting to happen.
What I Like to Do
In my spare time, I like to spend time in front of my PS4 with some co-op shooter or base builder game (which my cat loves because my lap will be available as a lounge for long periods). Another game genre I love is City builders, especially the ones that let me get creative. I also enjoy drawing, painting, doing macramé and small woodwork projects.
When it comes to sports, I'm a big fan of American football (#GoPackers), which my husband got me interested in at the beginning of our relationship. I don't really know why, but it was an instant love moment. I've never liked any other sport (except when Sweden plays in a World Cup hockey match) 🙃. I do know that I'm kind of a competitive person who enjoys the visualization of hard work, so that might be it!

5 Fun Facts About Me!
I've had several very talented artists in my family. For example, my grandmother designed the Hasselblad logo, which they still use.
1
I listen almost exclusively to Metal & '90s Pop music (although my taste in music has expanded a little bit in recent years, thanks to my husband’s relentless musical influence).
2
I have "right" and "left" tattooed on the upper side of my wrists, which has been more convenient and helpful over the years than I expected!
3
I have a keen eye for measuring short lengths. When I was a kid, I used to impress people by splitting a deck of cards into two equal parts as a party trick. I'm not sure if I can still do it now, though, so please don't test me!
4
I have never lived a day in my life without having a cat. Currently, a 16-year-old feline overlord is calling the shots in our house.
